FAQ
Are your activities and events safe?
With 30 years experience and a team of experts who develop and test our programming, we can guarantee that it is safe. Plus, we will provide you with risk assessments and our insurance policy prior to the event.
+What can we expect on the day?
Our Mad Scientists will arrive in plenty of time to set up. This is usually 30 minutes to an hour before start time depending on the size and type of event. They will have DBS and ID in hand and all of their materials for the day. Point us in the direction of our temporary lab and we're all set.
+What kind of space is best suited for a Mad Science school event?
We are able to work with most spaces. For shows, an ideal location would be an area with an open space for the children to sit on the floor as an audience. Classrooms are perfect for workshops and Pop up museum exhibits can be set up anywhere there is a table and room for a class to gather round.
+Do we need to provide Mad Science with any equipment?
For each scheduled show, we require a table to place our equipment on. The workshops can be held in a classroom. Depending on the topics you select, we may need access to an electrical outlet and a sink, or other water source.
